Annual Criminal Justice Coordinating Council (CJCC) Grant Application and MOU with Evidence Based Associates, LLC (EBA) for Juvenile Court.

Consider approving a request from Juvenile Court for annual grant application to the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council (CJCC) for grant term July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025 and a Memorandum of Understanding with Evidence Based Associates, LLC (EBA).

Annual County Equipment Auction.

Consider approving the list of surplus County vehicles and miscellaneous equipment and parts for auction by Jeff Dobson and Associates on April 27, 2024.

Subdivision Acceptance - Creekview Falls.

Consider final acceptance of all public rights-of-way, roadways and appurtenant drainage structures in the Creekview Falls subdivision.

Donation of a 2005 Mack Service Truck to Pickens County Fire & Rescue.

Consider approving a resolution and request from Fire & Emergency Services for donation of a 2005 Mack MR688P Service Truck to Pickens County Fire & Rescue.

Memorandum of Understanding with Cherokee Office of Economic Development for ARPA Funding of Sewer Project.

Consider approving a Memorandum of Understanding with the Cherokee Office of Economic Development for the installation of sanitary sewer to service the Technology Ridge Parkway and Airport areas in in the amount of $1,000,000.00.

Vehicle Purchases for Marshal's Office.

Consider approval of request from Marshal's Office to purchase one new Ford Explorer from Wade Ford at a price of $42,000.00 for Code Enforcement and one new Chevrolet Silverado from Hardy Chevrolet at a price of $48,830.00 for Animal Control; and authorize a corresponding budget amendment for use of funds from insurance recovery towards purchase.

Type I Ambulance Purchases for Fire & Emergency Services.

Consider approval of request from Fire & Emergency Services to purchase twelve (12) Type I Ambulances and power load systems from Ten-8 Fire & Safety LLC for a total cost of $4,920,000.00.

Amendment 1 to Design Services Agreement for Hidden Branches Drainage Improvement Project.

Consider approval of Amendment 1 to Design Services Agreement for Hidden Branches Drainage Improvement Project to Atlas Technical Consulting, for additional engineering and environmental permitting, in the amount of $54,150.00.

Amendment 2 to Construction Agreement for Hames Road Improvement Project.

Consider approval of Amendment No. 2 to Construction Agreement for Hames Road Improvement Project, to Bartow Paving Company, Inc., for installation of a French drain system for the roundabout island, in the amount of $55,072.52.

Annual Traffic Signal Maintenance Services.

Consider approval of an Agreement with North Cherokee Electrical, Inc, to perform Traffic Signal Maintenance and Repairs, countywide, as requested and as needed.

Motorola Genesis Software Upgrade.

Consider approval of a request from the Radio Technology Department for the purchase of a software upgrade from Motorola to enhance analytics and historical tracking of existing Motorola radios in the amount of $58,500.00.

FY 2025 CATS DHS Contract Renewal Application.

Consider approval of a request by CATS to transmit the FY 2025 Department of Human Services (DHS) contract renewal application in the amount of $410,000.00 with a maximum County match in the amount of $2,605.29 and authorize the Chairman to execute the agreement if accepted by DHS.

Resolution to Increase Trial Juror Compensation.

Consider resolution to adopt the recommendation made by the Grand Jury during the September 2023 term, to increase the trial juror compensation rate to thirty-five dollars ($35.00) per day.
